1 medium-sized bulb of onions

half a clove of garlic

4oz ginger

2-3 Habanero peppers (depending on how spicy you want it)

1 tsp of salt

1 tbsp Cajun / Adobo All purpose

Now I know what you might be thinking – this does not look like stew ! Well it does not look like American stew but we call it stew in Ghana. It’s a tasty sauce that can be eaten with just about anything.

Start by blending ginger, garlic and habanero peppers till it becomes smooth. Some like to just cut these ingredients to smaller pieces.

In  a cooking pan, add you oil and preheat. Fry your onions for about five minutes and add your choice of tomatoes. Add in your mix of ginger, garlic, and habanero peppers. Add in your salt and spices and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
