West African-Style Chicken Fried Rice


West African Chicken Fried Rice (1)

Cook Time: 15 minutes


3 cups of rice

2 large eggs

1 tsp of Season Salt / Cajun Seasoning

4 tbsp Oyster sauce

Chicken breast (you choose how much chicken you want !)

2 tbsp of oil

1 medium bulb of onion

4 Carrots


Cook 3 cups of rice in a rice cooker with 3 cups of water.

Cube chicken breast. Season chicken breasts with salt and/or Cajun seasoning. Cook this chicken separately in a preheated wok with 1 tbsp of oil.

Cut up your onions and carrots then you’re ready to start your chicken fried rice.

In a wok and using medium to high heat on your stove, heat up oil for 3 minutes and add in you chopped veggies.   Let the veggies fry for 3 – 5 minutes. Add in your  and add beaten eggs and let it cook for another 3 minutes. Then add your rice and keep stirring and slowly pour the oyster sauce into your mix and continue stirring.

Continue this process for about 10 minutes remembering to add in your chicken. Your fried rice is ready to be devoured!
